Finished it last night.
Amazing how Blatter avoided jail. He is an absolute fantasist.
I suppose it is good the yanks took an interest as there was nobody else with the bollocks to take them down.
Jack Warner really loves his kids.

Was a good watch. Mad that before 1974 FIFA was basically like a credit Union, with volunteers and no profits.Originally posted by Cerbie View PostFIFA Uncovered is on Netflix now. Shows how it all started and who the guilty parties are.
Bookmarked this to read in work tomorrow...

Or demand compensation for lost wages/ damages to reputation & the like.Originally posted by Cerbie View Post"After examining and evaluating all evidence and circumstantial evidence as well as hearing various witnesses in the main hearing, the criminal court came to the conclusion that the result of the evidence supports the version of the accused [Blatter and Platini].

So did not meet the criminal court burden of proof.
I just hope neither of them has the brass neck to try to overturn the football bans now!

Maybe I don't understand the ins and outs of the case but from what I read they are claiming that this was payments for advisory work. If that was the case there should be a contract where this was agreed. If that's the case then there is no case to answer. If there isn't then to me they seem bang to rights. Blatter can't just decide to retrospectively give his mate a load of money for work that he may or may not have done if there was no contract in place.
