It's conceivable, I'd say very likely, that two separate signals for two separate calls went to the officials, which means there's a potential flaw with regard to goalmouth action.

i would say it shows the system works if he got 2 signals straight a way,the first saying no goal as the ball was on the line then in an instant he got the 2nd signal for the ball crossing the line in the 2nd part of the move.

Yes.....but it was too quick to report out if that's the case, which is why you have a massive crowd reaction when it signalled no goal (a relative eternity after the ref had given the goal), then a goal, leading to the disarray we just witnessed here tonight. It done it's job, and it was a goal, but something has gone wrong in communication and it shouldn't happen.

Something's not right when it's still being referred to as a controversial goal, albeit by idiots, when technology was to eliminate such issues (and idiots).
