    Roy Hodgson Successor Thread

So you know how it goes - England get to a tournament and stink the place out.

If they have a foreign manager, they call for a root and branch review of the system and scout for an english manager who knows what it means to the english fans.

If they have an english manager, they call for a root and branch review of the system and call for a foreign manager who can deal with the big egos and who has experience at the highest level.

Well, there is only one man who can lift the English footballing nation now. Its a foreign manager next. A man with international standing. A man who took a leading english team to the giddy heights of the European Champions League quarter final.

Stand up David Moyes. Your international time is here.

I want an English manager who isn't a useless cunt. Not sure if there are any.

I don't think he's going to get the sack, I think he'll get another couple of years.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Maybe an ex player with no experience who isn't a media whore. Any of them.

Yep, he wont be going anywhere, he's done a truly astonishing job of convincing the country that just being there is an honour given how tough the group is, and somehow he's got a ****load of credit for the "bold move" of picking one of the leagues best players in the last 6 months (Sterling).

And to be fair, they might still qualify yet, but it'd be some of the biggest cracks getting papered ever!

He'd have done a better job imo.
