If the price is £8 million then it's a bargain.

Clause in his contract that says he can join a Champions League club for £8m apparently. Arsenal had a look, but didn't want to pay his wages.

By all accounts he's taking a pay cut from £80k to a paltry £60k to join us so you can't argue really.

A definite bargain. Seems a bit Sturridge lite to me, not entirely convinced by his football brain but searing pace and a lovely finisher. Passes the ball into the net. Our front line is absolutely bursting with pace now - Sterling, Sturridge, Markovic, Remy.

Lallana has a decent turn of speed too it must be said.

Judging by the reports looks like this one is done for £8m paying him 60k a week.

20 goals in 40 PL appearances and 14 in 27 last season for an average Newcastle side.

We are going to have so much pace in the forward areas.

Where is the source for this, I haven't seen any reliable source for this being a done deal, just the usually ****ter bull and paper talk. I hope your right and is done deal, as 8 million is good deal

He'd be a good pick up, we've already got the best striker in the league so just need the quality to come in when he's injured/rested etc. Would defo have confidence in Remy putting one in wherever/whoever we're playing. Could play off Lambert aswell or wider. Options!

When you look at the state of the market that's great value! Not watched him a great deal but the bits I have seen he looks a good finisher and the stats seem to back that up. Whats his injury record like? I recall him being injured a fair bit last season.
