Johnson is better than Manquillo. But He's still learning and showing promise. Glen has been making the same mistakes all his career and has never learned. Hopefully Manq will if he's sticking around.

I'd have Manquillo ahead of Johnson every time but have Flanagan ahead of both of them.

That's as tough a game as he's ever likely to have (Marcelo is incredible). He struggled at times, but overall I think he did ok. More than anything else I like his attitude.

He did ok last night and I think we need to remember that as fake said Marcelo is an excellent attacking fullback and his cover was the equally inexperienced Markovic.

I thought he was doing quite well when he was playing, however I think that the change to the WB system has pushed him down the pecking order. Markovic seemed to have claimed that position, but Ibe did really well there yesterday, I would say at the moment he is behind those two.

Fair doos, but ignoring the last bit about it suiting his game, he still deserves a shot at it. Markovic looked nothing like a defender after all...
