    Like a bitch.

Mario will probably be taking his armband and wife later on.

Exactly. Perhaps he has too much of a say at the club, maybe him leaving now he no longer runs games is actually for the best.

Yeah was easily left with a "He scored, we won" and a smile or "the manager will sort any issues in house" rather than all the "disrespectful" stuff.

I love balotelli. But I think that may be it for him. I reckon the players will close rank like cunts and freeze him out. Let's see.

I think everyone secretly believes this. The timing is perfect tbh.

As truly truly great as he has been, I'm very excited about life after Stevie.

Credit to Rodgers and co, that was unthinkable just a couple of years ago.

He came in held the ball up and showed exactly what we were missing. Maybe his best game for us.

Then, shows belief with reasonable track record, and grabs ball and winner.

Is then thrown under bus by club captain. Strange.

                  Mario Balotelli

Stevie has as much to answer for with them post match comments. Top story now on SSN 'Gerrard accuses Ballotelli of disrespect'. Should be saying **** all, deal with it indoors ffs.

Hope so. We don't need players deciding that the manager's decisions are open to being overturned due to indervidual arrogance.

It's the antithesis of Brendan's approach. Another nail is his coffim with us.

I have no issue with Ballotelli doing what he did. Fair play for having the balls to take on that pressure (and scoring great pen).

The issue is that Henderson didn't show enough balls to immediately put ballo straight.. But it's a learning curve for him. I'm sure he'll react differently in similar situation in future.

Well played Mario.. A good player indeed.

It would be stupid to not take advantage of Mario's ability when he's now playing very well. He looked more a team player in 30 minutes than sturridge did all night.

If his approach is to winning games, Mario showed him the way. Henderson shouldn't be on pens, certainly not taking only his second (missed his first) as such a crucial one.
