Exactly. Perhaps he has too much of a say at the club, maybe him leaving now he no longer runs games is actually for the best.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostThought Stevie having a pop was a bit weird and unnecessary. Yeah was easily left with a "He scored, we won" and a smile or "the manager will sort any issues in house" rather than all the "disrespectful" stuff.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostThought Stevie having a pop was a bit weird and unnecessary. I think everyone secretly believes this. The timing is perfect tbh.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostExactly. Perhaps he has too much of a say at the club, maybe him leaving now he no longer runs games is actually for the best.
As truly truly great as he has been, I'm very excited about life after Stevie.
Credit to Rodgers and co, that was unthinkable just a couple of years ago.

Hope so. We don't need players deciding that the manager's decisions are open to being overturned due to indervidual arrogance.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI love balotelli. But I think that may be it for him. I reckon the players will close rank like cunts and freeze him out. Let's see.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

I have no issue with Ballotelli doing what he did. Fair play for having the balls to take on that pressure (and scoring great pen).
The issue is that Henderson didn't show enough balls to immediately put ballo straight.. But it's a learning curve for him. I'm sure he'll react differently in similar situation in future.
Well played Mario.. A good player indeed.

If his approach is to winning games, Mario showed him the way. Henderson shouldn't be on pens, certainly not taking only his second (missed his first) as such a crucial one.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIt's the antithesis of Brendan's approach.
