Not a great performance on Saturday tbh. Playing up front on his own doesn't seem to suit us as we need a runner but he seems more adept at holding the ball up. Don't think he's completely fit as yet so will get better. Anyone know of his pace? Hard to tell. Hopefully a goal tonight will set him off.

I think what we saw on Saturday is the real Ballo. I never did rate him and never saw what everybody else seemed to see.

I really hope he proves me wrong but I won't hold my breath. City and Milan got rid not for his off field activities but for his general lack of on field activities, there is no doubting his skill but it only appears when he can be arsed.

I think people are being extremely harsh. In his debut game, he worked his balls off (well for Mario anyway ) and helped out a lot defensively. He was sick in the buid up to this game and right up until KO, there were rumours of him not making it, so i think we should give him the benefit of the doubt here.

I wonder if he would have played had Sturrdige been fit.

Yeah if you can't play Lambert in that sort of game what's he for? He'd have been more useful than a sick Mario though I think we should have started both. if he doesn't get games he's going to be too rusty to be of any use coming off the bench.
