Clearly being bombed out by Rodgers IMO. Brendan told the press the other day he was fit and available for selection. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him gone before the end of the month.

The problem is deeper than his work rate though. Even when he did have chances earlier this season, he couldn't bury them.

He's just not a good enough player.

I don't like managers publicly criticising players. However, Rodgers is right - playing Balotelli would completely change the dynamic of the team*.



*Can't blame Mario - Rodgers was the one who signed him
