He was no worse than the others. Won some freekicks. Played a couple of quick balls. I can't for the life of me understand why lallana refused to hit first time crosses when sturridge and balotelli were in the box. Waste of time having another forward on if we persist in having 5 touches before getting anywhere.Originally posted by danperkins View PostNo he was ****ing outstanding bob I was only joking.Always borrow money from a pessimist. I don't see the problem when Mario smashes one high and wide. One shot per game. Wow. The majority of attacking moves break down in one way or another. This just gets it out of the way much quicker. If he was trying it every time he gets the ball then fair enough.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

While I agree that we should get behind him, when you consider the amount of stick club legends like Gerrard and Carra or young kids like Raheem have received, I’d say he gets an unusual amount of support for somebody who has did nothing for the club. He also seems to get at excellent reception at matches, much better than other more established players. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
