Yep, the demonization of anyone not in work by the Tories and their mates in the media is IMO little more than the super rich diverting attention away from the real issue which is the super rich and the big corporations not wanting to pay tax and instead blaming the weak and vulnerable on the UK's financial state. Want to get the deficit down ? Properly tax the ruling top 1% and especially the mega corporations.

Clearly the propaganda campaign against the poor in the media has worked a treat judging by some of the posts in this thread. Benefits Street, Skint, Benefits Britain Life on The Dole, Too Fat to Work etc. etc. - All establishment media propaganda bollocks.

And before anyone cites example of people exploiting the system, well yes there are but those are carefully chosen examples by the media to stereotype and continue the demonization campaign. It's possible IMO to demonize literally any group of people whether it be race, religion, sexuality if you use isolated examples.

        Rant over.

striker Mario Balotelli, who last featured for Liverpool as an unused substitute against Manchester United on 22 March, will also be assessed ahead of the trip to Wembley.

"He wasn't quite fit enough for Newcastle," said Rodgers of the 24-year-old Italian. "He's had on and off sickness issues. Hopefully he'll train in the middle of the week."

Why should we blame people for exploiting the system? Surely we should be looking at the people who put the system in place and designed it to be exploited.

Can this be true? If we get £5m for him, he'll have cost us £11m plus wages and given us virtually nothing. We dropped nearly double that on Carroll; did he give us c£10m of value? I didn't think so, and he was the reason we bought Downing.

They may be far less common than is made out, but that doesn't make them isolated incidents.
