He is so easy to mark, so stagnant and predictable. So early but it has been horrible watching him so far.

Loan might be a good option.

His career and habits at other clubs render that point obsolete. He's not going to change his entire style for Liverpool - he didn't have a ****ing clue who we were before he joined.

Well it does. His scoring record is pretty consistent across all teams. Not got going here. Don't know if he will, but it's way too early to say he won't.
        *Except Michael, who died.

Surely he has it in him to change.

I can be a nightmare in work, I'm 35 years of age, childish, aggressive at time but this past year or so I've worked hard albeit with a lot of support and a lot of belief in me.

Ballotelli can do the same, he clearly has talent we all know that but he definitely needs help to improve himself. This is a chance for Rodgers to show how good a coach he really is if he can turn this lad's career around.

He's alright but he's no Victor Moses

              Loan?

FFS, he's an established international with experience of PL...... He does not fit the profile of the player we need and is a complete waste of £16m.....dont really get what BR thought he could do with tbh.

He's been fortunate to play in the best teams in England and Italy and he's scored goals for them. But Rooney has scored a **** load leading the line for Utd, it's much easier. He's been carried for most of his career by having chances galore created for him, missing most of them but finishing enough to get away with it.

So was Robbie Keane's scoring record though. Sometimes moves don't work out and were completed for all the wrong motives.

He isn't a fit for the ethos of Brendan's team, he's a ****ing passenger and they are a man down with him in the team.

                    Mario Balotelli

He didn't even come back to the bench for the second half. This will be robbie keane all over again. Guaranteed.

Edit: apart from keane never being a ****.

At least we could get rid of him without a fuss.

Thought he did some good stuff but he just doesn't suit us. Our fault for signing him, if you could draw up a player that you would think doesnt suit a Brendan Rodgers attack it'd be him!! Same in goal with Mignolet yet here we are. **** knows what this transfer committee is doing at times.

                          I bet you're not on £150k a week though... ;-)

The transfer record is looking more and more shaky recently. Lovren, Balotelli, Markovic - a lot of money spent on them and sure, you can say early days - but you would expect to see at least a glimpse of what the management thought these players might bring to the team by now. Its perfectly ok to expect to see at least some progress with the signings that have been made after 10 games. I know Brendan has said we might have to go back a bit for long term progress, but some of the players look like they will never be able to progress the collective. Its worrying.

So very true, so it's hard not to ask questions about whether Rodgers actually wanted him, and what the fact that we signed him says about the structure within the club.

How we played when Suarez was suspended last season, why can't we just play exactly like we did then? With Sturridge back it should be possible. I just can't see it happening though, the way we press and control games has changed and swapping personnel around probably isn't going to address it.
