Wouldn't have said owt if I didn't think it worthwhile. I trust the person totally, just cos it's as it seems doesn't mean it not true, that's a ridiculous chain of "logic".
Like I said, it's hardly groundbreaking. Can't win here sometimes.
The misfiring Italian continues to be selected by the Reds boss, leading some senior players to voice their annoyance
Fed-up Liverpool stars have rounded on boss Brendan Rodgers for favouritism towards goal-shy striker Mario Balotelli,
writes Neil Moxley in the Sunday People.
Reds players are angry that the Italian is in the team no matter how poorly he plays – and have even sent a senior Kop star to see Rodgers about it.
There is a feeling in the dressing room the boss has gone overboard with Balotelli – playing him until he breaks his duck in the Premier League.
The former Manchester City forward has scored just twice since his £16million move from AC Milan, once in the Champions League and once in the Capital One Cup.
Although his performances have improved lately, patience is wearing thin and a source close to the players and Robokop said: “There is a growing sense of frustration. It seems no matter how badly Mario plays, he’s in the team.
“It’s almost like the manager is trying to prove a point, playing him until he scores.”
England stars Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana have been used sparingly while Balotelli gets the nod virtually every week.
Rodgers is not the first manager to stand accused of indulging Balotelli. Ex-City boss Roberto Mancini was often criticised for turning a blind eye to the Italian’s indiscretions.
After just two goals in his 14 games, it remains to be seen how long Rodgers – after three straight defeats – keeps faith with the 24-year-old.

Lallana hardly plays in his position, and Lambert has not exactly been pulling up trees for us either. I very much doubt anyone here has missed my opinion about Balotelli, but for the most part I don't blame Brendan for starting with him considering our current options. That we should never have been in this position with our forwards to begin with is a different point.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
I'm not sure why Lambert gets so much stick for not doing the business for us. He has played the sum total of about 180 minutes in the league. Apart from a 60 minute run out against West Brom he has had to put up with 10 and 15 minute run outs. Whoever the goal is credited too his header against City was closer than Balotelli has come to scoring in the league. Given the game time Mario has had, Lambert would have contributed much more.

well perhaps today he will get his chance. And if he can take it then i am all for giving him a run out in the next games as well....
i saw lambert in the cap-one cup against Middlesboro - he looked garbage. Hindsight is wonderful but we should have saved the £4m and put it towards wages for Eto. As an impact player, he would have been a better bet....
