Half this forum can't even take being 5th a season after ridiculously overachieving for second. If we were bottom of the league after 10 games this forum would go ****ing loopy.

We are 5th in the league, have got to both cup semi finals this season. One of which we bossed both legs the other of which we bottled. We are 5th despite a massive over achievement in the previous season, losing one of the best players on the planet and having the other 20+ goal striker from the previous season injured for most of it.

9th in the league this season. Ninth. With 36 points. If we have 36 points we'd be in a relegation scrap.


Maybe, and I hate to bring realism to the party, but maybe its not about the manager and maybe it is both terms not performing as well as they would like because they have lost their better players.

Rafa won two La Ligas with a club that wasn't Madrid/Barcelona. Didn't quite translate to any Premier League wins though.

There'd be the Rafa effect that he'd buy players relatively unknown outside Germany too

I have a feeling this is going to happen ... all the indications seem to line up ... apparently there are lots of sources dating back some time that he would love to manage Liverpool ... regardless of what people think of our squad ..it is excellent .. with potential to be a lot more ... Bdog has put down some great foundations .... Klopp could push us on I feel ...

Only if he was available ... I dont think there is another manager I would consider to replace Brendan who I rate .. But Klopp is an upgrade and maybe a timely one

Thats what you knew Rafa would do every year - the league has moved on a fair bit since then, more teams vying for the same 4 places, but Rafa was consistent at least. If someone like him came in, it would only be for total control which is why it will never happen.

I think FSG want Klopp anyway (though i still think he will turn up at City) but I would expect FSG to go balls in to get him.
