Luton had a good team with Brian and Mark Stein and Ricky Hill.

I remember thinking Peter Ndlovu and Steve Hodge had the skills to pay the bills.

Me and my 3 mates that lived and breathed football were gobsmacked. Went out afterwards pracitising like mad. I often think of that shot.
I was at that Cup final.

(must've told the story - got my head kicked in watching my Division 4 local team when I was 13, old man wouldn't let me go any more so paid for me to have a season ticket at one of the 3 Prem teams local to us - Wednesday, Sheff Utd or Forest - until I was old enough to go to Liverpool games on my own. Some good mates were Wednesday fans so I picked them and went between 91/92 and about 95. They were a great team then)

Warhust had a ****ing rocket shot.

Mel Sterland for being as bad at his second trade as he was at his first - getaway driver. And for his teeth.

Played against him at 5-a-side in about 2001. I played endless football between the ages of about 9 and 25 and Sterland was singularly the dirtiest cunt I ever played against. Unbelievably aggressive and so dirty that I'm not ashamed to admit he intimidated me into submission. I was the top scorer in that division, a goal machine , but he bullied the **** out of me.

I remember my Leeds supporting mate saying Tony Yeboah had scored the goal of the century.

One look at him and my eggs would have gone as well. He must have lived under a bridge.
