Nah, for a start hes supposedly being offered 13m a year with bonuses on top. If they can get a 75m fee then they'd be looking at returning an overall margin after three years for a potentially world class player.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI think football is perilously close to going bust. It's a gamble obviously but it's merely a consequence of having a lot of money sloshing around football at the elite level.

When clubs can earn a quarter of a billion pounds per season in TV revenue why shouldn't players and their agents grab every penny while they can?Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI think football is perilously close to going bust. Lower leagues yes.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI think football is perilously close to going bust. The numbers are so high clubs are going to go out of business.
Most Premier League clubs are now returning profits for the first time. Even City.
The Premier League has so much money the clubs can't spend it all.

League will suit him down to the ground lots of time and space, he would struggle in prem imo. Nice footballer though, guaranteed league medal.

That's pretty decent considering he won't cost them anything in terms of a transfer fee. That works out about £150k/w roughly.Originally posted by Irishnev View Post
