Presumably Henderson is going to be pushed into a more attacking role and Can is almost doomed to be played out of position as a DM rather than letting him run box to box.

Henderson is wasted that deep and I'll be gobsmacked if Lucas is here next season, the poor guy can't stay fit and even when he can he now has the top speed of a drunk tortoise.

And Moreno and Skrtel are dodgy as **** in a back four.

I'm not sure I can with the players that we have at our disposal! If we were to go with a back four then I think we need better players and I'm not sure Brendan knows how to get them working properly as a cohesive unit.

This is what scares me so much about us going forward.

In all honesty as much as I think Kovacic is a good player, if not signing him means we buy a proper dm (who has quality) then I'm all for it. Signing Kovacic would probably have meant no dm which is what we badly need imo.

It's just a shame we probably have no interest in a top DM either, would love a player like Carvalho or Kondogbia.
