Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

He's going to have a shock to the system playing over here that's for sure.

Watching that reminded me of Joe Allen, not exactly a compilation to get the pulses racing.

I'd like to think Rodgers has a clear plan as to how he wants to play next season and has the conviction to see it through (in 90 minutes and over a season ... give or take). It may be what saved his job in the end-of-season review.

Pre season will be interesting at least.
Very curious to see what he has in store, for whatever team lines up next season. He's already under huge pressure & the season hasn't even begun yet, it's lousy but sure it is what it is. No forgiveness in that fixture list either.

Like many, I haven't been overly enamoured with the players we've been linked with in this window so far. Not going to panic just yet until that window is over, I'm sure there will be lots of outs and ins... hopefully the ins are better than the outs.

For me, having a cohesive plan of how he wants us to play & sticking to it.... is one better than last season. Clyne I'd be happy with, Milner I like, Ings not so much. Illarramendi i'm not so sure is a player we need & has stagnated so badly, IMO it's risk that in our current situation, we cannot afford to take. As you say, pre season is going to be very interesting

He is an Alonso as opposed to a Mascherano. He is a player who sets the tempo of a game and at Madrid he's stagnated as a young kid getting signed was never going to get the chance to shine when they already have Alonso. Then of course Real watch the World Cup and want a galatico, they don't need to take a chance on this kid so sign Toni Kroos.

He should have joined a more modest club from Sociedad like Alonso did. But I think he'd soon get his career back on track if he arrived at Anfield. I reckon he'd have doubled in value by January and would make the Spain squad for the Euros no problems.
                Lets hope so.

I still don't know what his strengths are or what kind of player he is.

                          Think Xabi Alonso.

Ha! He's a deep lying midfielder, more a break up play type player than a hard tackling DM player. Made the wrong choice by the looks of it going to Madrid AMs their love of spending huge money on established players. Certainly was highly thought of just maybe needs an opportunity of a run of games in a side.
