Terrible decision in the Rangers v Dortmund game, Rangers score to go 3-2 up but in the build up Can clearly kicks Morelos but VAR over turns it and gives Dortmund a foul but immediately after the restart they show another angle which clearly shows no foul yet that angle was not shown to the referee, how can that be.

It’s annoyed the **** out of me, this.

Look at that list of suspect decisions. In light of last night (which was blatant imo) there’s no reason to give the benefit of the doubt that any dubious decision is an honest mistake or honest subjective interpretation of the rules.

In which case, it’s hard to overlook the possibility that the officials (individually or from above) are actively unfairly interfering and even fixing games.

And if they are, then what’s the ****ing point?

Plus they need the extra match day revenue

And risk them getting pumped 4-0 by City thus reducing goal difference to us? Nah, I'll live with the result methinks.

I had a mental idea the other day, wait for it...

Why not have a couple of penalties each at the end of a game to be used in the result of a wrong decision. Kept in reserve and allows the game to continue and the result to be adjusted.

It would also allow for a larger panel of judges to decide so takes the pressure off the VAR and referee. Also negates their ability to skew a result and corruption

Can’t tell if that’s a joke or not… so if a team controlled a game at 1-0, without pushing for another goal, they could find out after the final whistle, that actually the other teams 2 penalty shouts in the first half are now given and they lost 2-1?
                      I don't tip

I think that I still think that the league positions should be based on goal difference anyway with points abolished.

An 11 man tug of war would be much more exciting
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

They'd be some highly amusing matches on that basis. And some highly dull ones too.

In reality, think it would be dreadful.

Not a VAR incident, but where do you gents stand on the 3rd Arsenal goal, and Arteta's role in it (ie coming a long way out of the technical area to catch a bad pass, throw it to Saka to take the quick throw in and 8 secs later it leads to a goal)?

Do we give credit to Arteta for quick thinking, or in reality should play be pulled back for a technical infringement?

Just watched it back now. Yeah I guess you'd be pissed off if that was against you. It's a weird one, if it was the home team ballboy (corner taken quickly etc.) you'd be fine with it, but as it is the manager outside of his technical area it is a bit dodgy.

Every single goal in that game was a stunner by the way!
