I haven't really seen enough of them to say how badly they are performing but they are only 5 points from the top of the table, ok they are on the same number of points as Wolves, Everton and West Ham so you can understand their frustration to some extent. The league has become very compacted at the top end, IMO due to the top teams playing 2 games a week nearly every week, giving the better midtable sides a chance to take points off them or take advantages of their slip ups, while they only have their regular 1 game a week. I don't think that they have a bad squad or really need any significant rebuild, in a normal season I think we would again be seeing the dominance of the top 6 and City would be up there. This season was always going to be tighter and not have the winners getting stupid points totals like the last couple few year.

Didn't the league used to be like this when only one sub was allowed and top teams had European commitments?

And that's the best of the best, a season and a bit without guaranteed success and they've had enough.

Didn't we come up with 2 golden chances after the 90th minutes last night? The only difference is one keeper pulled of an incredible save vs. Gundogan and Lloris didn't.

Gundogan got denied by a world class save. Lloris didn't have one of those for Firmino's header. That's it.

But even forgetting that, your point about them never giving up is just bollocks.

Did they grind out a win vs. Fulham? No. Brighton? No. Everton? No. Us? No.

4 out of 5 times they've been drawing in the 89th minute they've drawn the game. There's no superpower, there's no superior will or never give up attitude

And they looked **** against Fulham while we beat them at a canter.

They've dropped points in 40% of their league games and got dumped out of the cup by the worst Arsenal side in 50 years.

8 points and we have a game in hand at home. They've dropped points in 40% of their games this season and the players they have fit are being run into the ground with no rest. Fulham was described as the worst performance in Klopp's 5 years.

They are already struggling massively for consistency, having only won 2 of their 5 games before this, but in January/February they will have 6 or 7 players who've already played a seasons worth of football and the injured players aren't coming back.

The attempted deification of a decent Liverpool side is embarrassing.
