Decent opening phase from England, but after 20mins or so, I think its caught them a little and found themselves relying far too much on Rice dropping into a back 5. No doubt a plan and Italy obviously are no mugs, but it's a dangerous game to play so much so early, but they've closed avenues well and even though Italy own the ball, they probably only had a bobbler on target, and a couple blocked efforts so credit to the effort put in.
That being said, any England potency going forward has had less and less of an impact after the start and Donnaruma has been almost untested.

Still....a good position to be in with that solitary goal and certainly a second goal will probably end it which could easily happen as Italy get more desperate.
