Henderson should start the final, he was brilliant when he came on.

Can't believe the final is on a Sunday - might as well declare Monday a bank holiday!

The whole thing was ridiculous no matter what country you come from.

Denmark disappeared from about 60 mins. Felt like there was only one winner and England grew stronger and stronger.

The final is an entirely different matter.

Sterling was decent tonight. And England look very solid at the back.

Italy will pose some challenges that England haven’t faced yet. And aren’t they unbeaten in 15 games or something.

Italy are unbeaten in 33 games I think.

I thought Sterling was man of the match. Was superb today and driving this England team on. Kane wasn’t too far behind. This England team is superior to its previous generations, even the one including Gerrard, Owen and Ferdinand. There are more leaders in this team than in any of these.
                        Are we winning?

I'm very pleased for Southgate actually. He's stumbled into near-greatness now.

Yeah 33 games. That’s an immense run.

I think the one thing England haven’t faced is a team with a potent attack, maybe Germany a bit. It’s nicely set up. But a huge challenge for either team.

And the Italians won’t be as honest as the Danes in terms of all of the diving and histrionics. And will bring plenty of their own.

It’s quite ironic really, of all England’s recent managers hes the one you would have thought least likely to get the team to a tournament final
