Nobody expected us to qualify. Having done so, the lack of options in a few positions really shows. Knowing we’d beat the Czechs the last three times we have played them was worrying.

Expectations were low given how bad we were until relatively recently.

There were some nice elements of play at times. But 100% we didn’t take out chances. A few questionable selection decisions.

I hope Clarke had realised Dykes isn’t good enough. Hard working but lacking. Adams much better when introduced, but he plays Dykes so we can hoof it long.

Should have had Fraser in there too imo.

He didn't have a good season for Newcastle but he's creative and has proven he can perform at a higher level than either of the two forwards or the RWB today.

O’Donnell was ****e. I think Clarke was way too defensive, CBs v 1 forward when one isn’t Tiernay was a mistake. Just need to dust ourselves down and go again.
