Has there been precedent of a game being postponed and not replayed in the group stages before - World Cup or Euro's? Curious as to how that would work although I see from the above Tweet we might find out soon enough

Not sure TBH.....I'd imagine there may have been instances of games being stopped with the remaining time being played etc, but surely schedules get in the way at this stage and with this unfortunate instance.
Probably award a draw if the game is currently at stalemate, so that's what should apply here I would imagine. I know there have been instances of club football being able to chop and change, but the logistics involved here are obviously different.

Finland probably only too happy with that given the way the wind was blowing ........guess we'll hear more soon. I wonder if the fans have been told to move on from the stadium yet

Was out walking dogs when I got a text about it. Strangely upsetting to hear and start following. I'm kinda glad I didn't see it. Even reading on the BBC football feed that the Danish players were crying and some praying was quite intense.

He just keeled over, running to receive a throw in.

Kudos to the ref and all the other players for reacting. And it was really emotional to watch as his teammates formed a barrier to enable the paramedics to administer CPR. You could vaguely see what was going on.

The players of both teams were in tears. The support from both teams were also in tears.


Then you became aware of a woman with an Eriksen shirt stood pitchside. His wife. Who was being comforted by other players.

I’ve no ****ing idea how they can consider playing out the rest of the game after that.

100% the correct thing to do. That was unbelievably traumatic. No way you can ask them to play against each other after them going through and witnessing that.
