I think we can beat Madrid. Won’t be easy obvs, but City beat them about ten times over in that tie.

There will be talk that they have a winning mentality, never know they are beat etc, but the reality is we are superior to the 3 teams that totally outplayed them and our forwards are ruthless, so if they concede the same amount of play to us, it could be embarrassing for them.

Things could well go tits up on the day, but genuinely can't think of an easier match on paper for a CL final.

i don't think they are capable of coming at us from the 1st whistle & that is when we have struggled this season. Get a couple of goals up & send Mille, Hendo & Joe G on for last 20mins would be the ideal.

As I said I think we’re the best team in the world and have said that for a while, but while I look forward to playing Real as I think we have things to settle, this won’t be an easy game.

On paper for a CL final. Would have been more worried about City, Chelsea, Bayern or even PSG and realistically we're not gonna be facing another Benfica.

And it's not rose tinted glasses or over the confidence either. I expected City to hammer them and they should have. Nothing from that performance last night made me think, oh ****, Real could cause us serious problems. Only argument I can make for them is their pedigree and recent history against us, but think we're just far to good at the minute for that to really matter

We need to make sure we play the team and not the occasion, I think that was part of the problem in the first half of the semi final and the league cup final earlier in the season.

We're going to have to be on the absolute top of our game and ideally build up a big enough buffer to stop them getting any foothold.

Even if we race into a 2-0 lead I won't feel confident, given their heroics.#

They've won the league already unfortunately so they can rest up. It's a big advantage as we have to go strong in every game. We've rotated perfectly so far so hopefully that continues.

That quick turn around is good imo. We had to wait ages to play Spurs and both teams were painfully out of rhythm come the final.
