Tuned in last 10 mins of ET, glad I didn’t watch it but well done Mane, pen was flawless.
      Hello mert.

Anyone who is under any doubt what the AFCON means to the players only needs to watch the post shoot out scenes.

Mane is a class act, and spent time consoling the Egypt players. He is already was a legend, so who knows where he is now.

Senegal deserved to win the tournament.

I think what...think it was Yaya...said about this being the pinnacle for an African footballer, they know they won't win the World Cup, so this is their only chance of glory with their country, that puts it into perspective and why the players are so keen to play.

Given he had already missed one. This is some pen.

Maybe, but if he's blaming Liverpool for Egypt's failure then that's a bit on odd

I’m hoping Mo retires from International duty to concentrate on us only from now on.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He is carrying the hopes of a big nation on his shoulders. I don't think he dares considering retirement

I agree but the style of football they play must frustrate the hell out of him.

That was a good game, people who’ve said that the quality was dire probably didn’t watch it. Sénégal is an excellent side and I hope they’ll do well in the World Cup. The level obviously picked up once the group stages were done which is not different to what we see in European competitions.

Each to their own though. Congrats Sadio, now have a deserved week off.
                        Are we winning?

What if they did watch it and still thought the quality was dire? Quite the conundrum
Sack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

Ok, then I didn't it see it was dire, so maybe you know your football better than me. Sounds to me that African football is **** the way this is being criticised / portrayed here. There's a deference to it that smacks of superiority coming from a bunch of white middle class chaps.
