City looked poor from what I saw of the game. Decent teams will beat them without breaking a sweat

They are so far off the top teams it's quite difficult to understand.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostThey don’t even appear to be trying; standing off, giving Arsenal all the time in the world. No shots on target, no shots off target, just nothing.
In the first half of the season you could make the case that they couldn't handle the schedule of European and domestic football.
But since they got knocked out, they haven't improved at all.
They have some decent players, so I guess the manager has got the limits of his ability.Oh I don't know.

Sadly this, it's the hope that kills you.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostNo way Utd hold on for any points in this game. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

yeah there's no way City ain't scoring. They are the best side for breaking down a deep block and Uniteds ball retention is horrible. They ll be bombarded second half.
In saying that, I thought they'd be 2 down at this point. The hope, yeah it's a killer because it inevitably creeps in

What hope evenOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostSadly this, it's the hope that kills you.
no way.
I forced myself to watch the last 15 minutes of this torture. It's possibly first non-LFC or international football I've watched in maybe years. I honestly can't believe how bad United are. They really are comparable in quality of football to the Slovenia national team, I'm not kidding. They stand no chance of getting a point even.
