The only way United are in the draw is if they beat Bayern- I think Bayern would rather the prize money and pride from that game than having united in the draw…

Also don’t know why else they would want them in the draw, haha. Not saying they’re gonna roll over tonight, but don’t think they’ll have any extra motivation to win, for united’s sake

Hmmm don’t think it makes a difference to them in CL- to go through they need to beat Bayern and hope that the other two draw their game. This would have been the case if Bayern won too.

But the fact that Copenhagen got a point, means united are that little bit more likely to go out of Europe altogether, which would be hilarious.

Embarrassing that going into their last game, their faith isn’t even in their own hands, especially when you consider that the game they have left to play is the hardest. ie Copenhagen and galatasaray have both played Bayern an extra time and STILL are both ahead of united!

What did keep them in the comp was a Neuer double save in the 88th min - Dudek style.

Yup if they win and the others draw, they’re still in the CL.

If they win and either of the others win, united get the Europa spot.

If they draw, and Galatasaray win, United get the Europa spot.

If they draw and Galatasaray don’t win, then United are out of Europe

And if they lose, they are out of Europe, no matter what happens in the other game!



Agree it’s the hope that kills them. Best scenario would be united are 1-0 up, deep into stoppage time. The other game has finished a draw. They are heading to the last 16 of the CL… then a 98th minute Harry Kane equalizer knocks them completely out of europe! Their heads drop and 4 days later, we put double figures past them, to send Ten Hag on his way.

I reckon its Erik Ten Games at this stage..... Would be surprised if he isn't gone by then. They've had such a ****e season so far but to be honest they haven't actually had difficult fixtures. Their next 10 games are:

Newcastle a
Chelsea h
Bournemouth h
Bayern h
Liverpool a
West ham a
Aston villa h
Forest a
Tottenham h
Wolves a


With their ****e away form and the fact that they are a pretty **** team, every one of those teams will fancy getting something off them. Chelsea and even Bournemouth will fancy catching them on the break at old Trafford . They should have went for Emery as manager.
