There are a number of people on this site that are gay and/or are the parent of a gay or non binary child.


My god daughter is gay and does not look like Garnacho or any other man. If someone tried to get a cheap laugh at the expense of her sexuality in front of me in the real world I would call that person on it, so on here is no different if a similar type comment is made albeit in the form of a sweeping generalisation.


If I think a comment is ignorant or offensive then I will say so. Just because it is hidden behind the anonymity of a profile name does not mean I have to go hahahaha or just ignore it. It is not me calling the poster a name or attacking the poster, it is me finding the comment objectionable.


You have the right to condone a comment, laugh at it or ignore it is you like, just as I have the right and ability to call a comment ignorant if I feel it is so.

If any of the gay people on the site have an issue with it, they are perfectly capable of speaking for themselves or contacting the admins. They certainly don't need you white knighting it. Hopefully it is seen for what it is, which imo was a joke and absolutely nothing more than that
