Southgate's tactics are an absolute shambles - and it looks like it is running the same course as Sven.

A botched system trying to shoehorn players in and first idea is to be compact and defend. I doubt there's a single player on the pitch that plays like that for their club, perhaps Guehi did when Roy was in charge.

I don't think TAA is a midfielder tbh but to play him and have no system to make use of his incredible passing range is bonkers.

Put Gomez at LB.

Tell Kane to stay up top and not to keep dropping so deep.

Bring on guys like Palmer, Watkins, Bowen and Wharton at the 60 or 65 min mark to keep energy levels up. Same four guys are next in line to be starters if any of the guys in their best positions under perform
