          Wayne Rooney was a fantastic player but the bloke struggles to put two sentences together. He's as thick as they come. Why would any Chairman think he's going to know how to set up a team and spend large sums of money? Insanity.

                Even if you think his football knowledge makes up for anything else take a look at his managerial record which was crap before they appointed him, not sure why they thought he would improve significantly
