That’s the thing, no matter how good they are in midfield they have old man Manzukic up front and Dejan on full power at the back (not a good thing when he tries to impose himself on Kane - been very rash) - bad in both boxes

Totally outclassed. Delighted for Degsy, was immense and shame for Hendo who was quite clearly the best English player by a mile at the tournament.

Croatia were better than us without being particularly good themselves. They know how to manage a game though and we were shattered in the end. Well done England, did a lot better than I thought and overachieved at this tournament, despite a general lack of talent. Let's get the lads back and into the squad again ready for next season.
