I think we'd all have paid that amount for him because at the time he was and is now a good striker. It's just a shame that he was **** for us. The Morientes that's at Valencia now is hardly recognisable to the one that was here last year.

Nando was proven on the european and international stage. £6m was a reasonable fee. Bent is neither.

Henry's the world's best so I would have to go for Henry at 20 million even though it would prove a disastrous move if he got injured and we had feck all players to take his place.

Klose or Huntelaar would be good. £13.5m for Darren Bent - don't make me laugh. Is he twice the player Bellamy is (and I don't rate Bellamy) - I don't think so. Personally I'd have paid the £10m for RVN.
