Right lads lets just see how he does against Chelsea on the 20th eh?
I sincerely hope he puts in a Captain's performance and i am left with egg on my face.

Also people i would just like to point out i'm a massive fan of Stevie as a player and person, he's one of my favourite LFC players, i've got his name on the home top, i've got his DVD, i've got his Autobiography, he's a hero to Reds across the land, he's our inspirational hero.
In saying all that if i feel he isn't performing then i'll not be shy in saying it, no bid deal in that is there?

If he does exactly that, then will you allow a panel of Ester's to ensure the egg and possiblly some out of date fruit gets on your face

Agreed. Stevie will most certainly be back on the right soon and Im happy that he'll be there. Stevie does the dynamic things well, breaking into the box, surging forward etc but he will never be a truly great all round midfielder. Before you jump down my throat, he is certainly already a great player and legend but does not do the very basic midfielder stuff to great effect. Rafa sees this and thus momo is preferred in the middle as he breaks up play much better and offers more protection to the back four.

That said i dont think stevie was at fault for anything on saturday - rafa knows SG's shortcomings and should have adjusted his tactics accordingly but played right into wengers hands instead.
