I said that SWP is a good player but he isn't as good as Alves.Originally posted by kopdan View PostSWP is a ****ing great player
bloody swedish
Alves is almost as fast as SWP, is a better crosser, more hard working, tougher and have an excellent winning mentality. They both go down to easily.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I know that. Sevilla probably want around £20m for him now. He is their key player.Originally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostTrouble is AF I think Alves will cost a lot more and Sevilla are top of La Liga. Can't see Alves wanting to move in all honesty.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

I think that will depend on how many players Sevilla will sell, if they qualify for the CL and if the manager stays.Originally posted by kopdan View PostWe wont get AlvesJust believe and you never know what will happen.

He has probably been the best player in La Liga this season together with Ronaldinho.
Why do you think Rafa have tried to sign him for the last two and a half years?
I don't think you can get a more complete right sided player than him and he wouldn't get any trouble IMO with the PL. He is a very tough player.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

Ive never seen a full 90 mins either, but i have turned over to sky and seen him playing a few times, he has always impressed me, very cool on the ball, Would have thought he would have been suited to a Liverpool side of Evans the way he goes forward and like to pass and move. He would be better on the right than Pennant I think, but he would need someone to be reading from the same hymn sheet up front with him.Originally posted by kopdan View PostSo is Alves all that then? Never seen him play for 90 minsBill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Sevilla took off Navas against Zaragoza and moved Alves to the right wing. They totally dominated the game after that. He passed to their only goal in the game.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

SWP is a no brainer - we need a right winger and SWP is one of the best in that position. I don't understand why people are saying he's been **** for Chelsea, how many games has he started since he moved there? you can't judge a player on a few sub appearances, biggest mistake he ever made going there. Once he starts regularly again his City form will return very quickly, there have been glimpses of it in the few games he's started for Chelsea.
