He's a truly world class talent.
He didn't do anywhere near enough last season. A good player but will LFC ever see the best of him? I doubt it now.

Kewell's contract goes until the end of the 2007-2008 season.

i think it would be a total waste to let kewell go on a free, we should make every effort to resign him on reduced wages imo

if he can get his fitness back he will be well worth the gamble, if not we already know whats it like to be harry-less

No one knows how fit Kewell will be.

In the World Cup he actually was very quick and almost 100% fit again.

I would give him a new deal if he is fit enough. He works his socks off every game for us and give our left side the balance we have missed this season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Please allow the Argie players a time to settle. You Big them up so much that they inevitably Fail in the eyes of the people here

Have I bigged up Leto or Insua NO, I just said Paletta was a good defender which he is. What has he played 3-4 games? You can't make judgement on that, you can't just base a result on the Arsenal game he was with Sami so we had the slowest central defenders on against probably the quickest attack.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Also the players I have bigged up aren't to bad either are they. eg. Messi, Higuain, Gago, Aguero and Ustari.

I'm a Big fan of Paletta. I believe he will be Very good for us. Yes, he is inconsistent, but that's to be expected at his age.

People on here are expecting Insua and Leto to walk into the first team next season. Leto is 20 and Insua is 18. Rafa will gradually introduce them, like he's done with other youngsters.

The EPL is a Tough school, especially for flair players. I'd like to see Messi (As Good as he is) play a season of Premiership Footy. There's a couple of Uncles out there that will Rip him a new arsehole

I don't think he has earnt a new deal. He is on big money and we have seen him injured more often than not. This isn't his fault necessarily, but we need players who we can rely on. I thought he was decent last season, but no better than that. He had two or three great games, but apart from that he was decent, this showed as he only scored three goals which isn't enough if we compare him to other top wingers.

Rafa likes him so I think he'll stay and I wish he was fit at the moment as he would walk into the first team. But persoanlly I would let him go or sell him as we need a player who can play 'week in week out'.

Think i have mentioned before but my Aunty knows Sheree pretty well, and get the odd snippet from time to time. A he is devesatated about his injuries he is quite down and always moaning to sheree.
I personally think he is one injury away from his liverpool career finishing. Think he will be given one last chance and 1more injury will see him moved on

We don't have anyone that we know can cut it though - Kewell is the best LM player we have unless you plan on playing Garcia there regularly and even then it is debatable. Edited your threat title mate.

                                True

And thank **** for it too. At least when he gets back we'll have someone capable of offering a goal threat out wide.
