I am glad we didn't sign him if it would have meant giving him 50k a week. Thats silly money for him. I don't know what we offered but if he'd rather go to West Ham for an extra 5-10k a week then good luck to him. I wonder if there is a relegation wage drop clause in his contract??Comment

Was never overjoyed at the prospect of him coming anyway tbh, strikes me as yet another quantity as opposed to quality signing, the ones we've been forced to make for years now.
