I'm neither Irish or Scottish so it makes no difference to me who he represents but I remember reading somewhere last week that his Grandfather always dreamed that he would play for Ireland and the kid made a promise to him.
If he wants to fulfill a promise to his Grandfather who has just died I say full respect to him.
When he gets picked for the A team that's when he will need to make his personal decision on whether he's Irish or Scottish and then you'll know his true colours.
If I was Scottish I wouldn't be too hard on him because he's made his decision for a good reason and if you treat him harshly you might drive away a good prospect for your national team.
However, the more important decision for him to make this month is whether he's a red or a fat greedy ****in Chelski. Then I'll tell you whether he can **** off and go to hell!!
