I like Tom Huddlestone but to be honest, he wouldn't be in my top three to choose. Just think he deserves a mention. I think he will be a very good Premiership player in the future though.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

yes I know. Somehow did not seem to fit the tread.

Also it is not a position we most need players for.
He is gonna improve us though IMO.

                    Alves - RB/RW
                    Gaanst Pedersen - LM
Bent - fox in the box forward.

40M outlay. But it'd make us realistic challangers IMO.

Like Lahm as well, but he'd be hard to get.

Can't believe no-one else rates Ashton.

                        I reckon he's a gun.

Strong, tall, good technique. Shame he got injured, he's been a big loss for West Ham this season.

I rate him highly, but he's too similar to Kuyt for me. If we had Crouch, Kuyt and Ashton as three of our four strikers, there wouldn't be much pace there. I think Ashton is slower than Crouch. Really. He's very slow.

I like him though; he's an intelligent player and a fantastic finisher. Just not sure he's what we're looking for.

He's better than Defoe and Bent though

Well, comparing Ashton and Defore, that's like comparing Kuyt to Owen.
                                Completely different strikers.
Ashton has been decent when I have seen him.
