He's a smart lad too. Today is not the time for criticism of West Ham. If he is successful with Liverpool, their potential embarrassment is not his problem.
"The day you leave a club is not the day to talk about them in a disparaging manner. My time at West Ham wasn't what it was meant to be; I was excited to be joining a club like that. They haven't won much and I wanted to help to change that. I feel bad that I couldn't.
He is reminded of the incident with Jermain Defoe at Tottenham, when he was bitten, on a rare appearance in a West Ham shirt.
"I am glad that you asked me, because I have never spoken about it before, although there were many quotes attributed to me after the game. All I will say is that I never complain about anything that happens on the field of play. What happens on the field, must stay on the field." Surely all new signings, especially from abroad, need time to settle. Mascherano doesn't need the excuse. "Not everyone needs that time. Gabriel Heinze didn't need time to settle when he came to Manchester United.
"There are players who can be an instant success - I don't want to complain and say that I need time to adapt. A real professional must seize the moment."
red chilli i hope this means that you are wrong and he kicks ass for us

So… come boy, choose life or death."

I think that Everton has the same problem with a Portuguese player they're signing, and that the fact that these players are owned by corporations etc ... and that their contracts are complicated etc ...Originally posted by kopdan View Postbut what are they checking?
Is it because of the 3 club deal or is it something else/ No other deals get held up so I'm a little lost as to why the League have to sanction it if FIFA already have.
I wouldn't expect the premier league to look at these documents if they were sent just before the midnight deadline anyway.

Well the Premier League need to say yes really because Fifa (The Governing Body) had authorised the deal and if they fail to comply with Fifa then they could surely get fined for failing to enforce a Fifa rulingId rather bleed with cuts of love then live without any scars

****in Premierleague... How much time do they need?!Javier Mascherano has spoken of his delight after FIFA gave him the green light to sign for Liverpool.
The deal is still to be ratified by the Premier League, but the 22 year old Argentinian international is relishing the prospect of kick-starting his career after a disappointing spell with West Ham.
"The club has done a lot for making this easier, they did a great presentation and that's why now I am allowed to play for Liverpool," he said.
"I went through a very bad moment but now Liverpool has appeared and I want to do my work as best as possible for showing that I still have the same ambitions as when I arrived in England.
"Rafa Benítez gave me a lot of confidence since the fist moment that I spoke with him.
"Personally I even got very surprised with the chance of being transferred to Liverpool considering that I haven't been playing since December 3rd at West Ham.
"Now a new page starts in my career and I want to again be the player that I was some time ago and fight for a place at Liverpool.
"I want to give my best to this team that has done such a big effort to have me in the squad.
"In addition to that I want to work very hard for Liverpool and for myself win a place again in the Argentinian national team."Torres Fan Club Member #2, Lucas Leiva Fan Club Member #1
