the statement says they agreed a deal with Moores but the other Directors have not accepted it.

I don't understand peoples antipathy to Americans in this thread. DIC were hardly a traditional Liverpudlian/English/British business. What is important is that we get owners willing to fund our new stadium, some new players and who have the ability to run the commercial side more agressively than we have been.

okay lets look at this another way:

We don't really need a huge influx of cash for transfers things seem to be going okay for us at the moment, we've improved year on year with Rafa and thats without DIC.

The whole debt issue seems to be blown out of all proportion so I don't think this is a real concern.

The main sticking point is the building of a new stadium, but in all honesty we aren't suddenly going to go **** just because we don't have a new stadium. There's other avenues to explore, and we'll see what the board make of this Gilette fella.
