DIC are out. Forget about them. We're about to get shafted by a ****ing Yank who owns a ****e hockey team.

true but Moore's lion share must have some weight

and i'm not sure if Moores and Parry we still for the DICtakeover that they would pull out.
Moores would be able to throw some weight and backlash on the other members for selling the club out.

I recon they've spotted something hence
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

            From the offal.

Liverpool Football Club has noted today's announcement by Dubai International Capital.
The process of seeking new owners for the club is still underway and a decision on the future will be taken in the next few days.

            Informative, don't you think??!!

                  It's everywhere

managed to get a little on sunday though

Couldn't be arsed reading the whole thread....it has to be the longest ever

DIC pulling out IMO is an absolute ****er....I've been tearing my hair out ever since I found out, which was unfortunately when a prospective wedding photographer came round to show us his portfolio and run through prices. When he had finished, he asked if either myself and the missus had any questions and I had to say 'no I'm sorry, my head is scrambled, I just found out that DIC pull out of the Liverpool takeover.' He looked puzzled and the missus looked slightly embarrased/diassapointed...

Hopefully DIC will come back in for another bid, but I doubt it. It's all over. I have no confidence in Gillette....is he really the best a man can get????:bird:

Fair enough redlancer. You obviously have more faith in them than I do. I think the club is run in a very amateurish way and their handling of this whole affair has been embarrassing. Parry looks like a bit of a div now after kissing DIC's arse for 2 months....

IMO The club has publicly made DIC out to be the second coming and made Gillett out to be just some unimportant interested party. This seems to have backfired on them now and if DIC are deffo out and Gillett has matched their offer (i.e. He'll payroll the stadium and put up dosh for future transfers) plus more for the shares (as has been reported) then The Club will now have to do a PR exercise to endear Gillett to us as the possible new owner of the club.

Personally I was all for the DIC takeover because I'd read/heard that Gillett has been Bankrupt before which worried me but that's only because we've heard/been fed nothing but good things about DIC and nothing but negative things about Gillett IMO.

Who knows? maybe Gillett turns out to be a brilliant new owner and takes us to the next level or maybe DIC will come back with a better offer and take us forward.

Bottom line is that NONE of us really know WTF is going on behind closed doors and NONE of us can see into the future so just CHILL THE **** OUT and let's see what develops

Remends of a real life edition of "Deal or No Deal" with Moores as a cash hungry contensant and Gillett being the banker...

This story is so funny, as if it does pan out that our board sold out for a few more pieces of silver, it`ll put to bed the thought that those same people had the clubs wishes at heart...
                          We need better attacking players!

Mate, I would've if I had rope on me when I heard the news in a cab on the way to the airport. But unfortunately never in my wildest imagination did I think LFC were going to f*ck this opportunity up....I guess I was wrong. Why am I surprised?

It's shocking isn't it? We have whored the club around for the beat part of 2-3 years and then finally when we get a serious offer Parry, Moores and the board have ****ed them off.

The thought of those two ever 'playing a blinder' is hilarious.
