    You are ever the opimist

How much money have the club got because Moores is a Liverpool fan?

      Not that much.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

i'd prefer DIC to be honest (no pun thanks) but you have to take the rough with the smooth and if Gillette's offer is sound, we wont have missed out.

The club needs a new owner as Moores is not upto it IMO.

I'm not wading through 28 pages of people leaping to conclusions and being overdramatic. Could anyone please tell me the current state of affairs?
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

how do people know DIC was the better offer

                      simple

nobody does, its opinion. I cant see groundshare going ahead now. Just 5 minutes with LFC fans will convince Gillette of that and dont think he doesnt know what LFC is about or how much the club means to people as Moores will have filled him in.
We are judging based on what Parry has told us in the past about DIC, and how Gillett's previous bid was swiftly rebuked. We have never heard anything from the club that this guy was ever a suitable prospective owner until now, all of a sudden he is in the frame. This worries me greatly. What has all of a sudden changed in the last month that makes this the guy to "take us to the next level" and not DIC?

In order to "saddle us with more debt" Gillette has to do a glazier. He has to take the club away from being a PLC and into being a privately owned company.
So his debt becomes our debt.

So he needs at least 75% of the shares to do that.

I don't think Moores is going to let this happen.
I read somewhere (probably Echo article) that he financed the purchase of the hockey club by mortgaging their stadium. Seems clear to me he'd do the same with our new stadium and we'll become like Arsenal - heavily reliant on CL qualification every year to make sure we just keep up with the interest repayments, never mind giving the manager sufficient funds in the transfer market.

Parry is going to have to say a lot more than just "trust me".

I find it amazing that people can't see why we're so upset.

How can we trust a man like Parry who was so pro DIC over the last couple of months and then all of a sudden we hear that there's been a complete turn around and DIC are no longer flavour of the month? How are we expected to just blindly follow Parry when he clearly changes his view from one day to the next?

I don't trust him or his judgement when it comes investment and I never will.

No, we're all upset, but I'd like to hear more details before blaming anyone.
