    No.

But I'll take a punt that Ronaldinho is a better player, as is Van Nistelhorse.

Every player that we're linked with is the best in some way according to AFII.
If they're not the best in the world they're the best in their league etc...

        RvN better than Alves
He has been **** in most of the games this season. Alves has probably been MoM 90% of the games for Sevilla this season. Today he dominated the game.

Ronaldinho hasn't been that good this season even if he has scored a lot of goals and many of them have been penalties. He doesn't dominates the games in the same way this season as he did last season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Being someone who doesn't watch much of La Liga I couldn't really answer that question. That wasn't my point though. My point is that whoever we are linked with is the "best in the world" in that position according to you. I remember in one case that we had 3 right wingers linked with us and you said that all 3 were "the best in the world".

Have a feeling he wll be going to Barca or where his current manager will b next season.
I know he is having a great time in La Liga, just cant see him having the same impact in the Premiership however. He wouldnt get nearly the same ammount of time he gets in La Liga to influence games, and would have a problem with the physical nature of the Premier league. Just my humble opinion of course.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

              * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

IMO, he's still a bit too weak to play in the Premiership...

                  true.

And LF Clove, surely you're not saying Alves is better than your beloved Aguero?!!

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. He is an excellent player and probably the best striker in La Liga but he isn't better or more important for his team than Alves.

My guess is that we will need to pay around £25m if we want to sign Alves. Sevilla doesn't need to sell and he is their most important player.

OK are you talking dominating games or are you talking "better players"?

Ronaldinho is a different type of player altogether. I fear we'll ever see Ronnie getting stuck in in the same way as Alves, and likewise Alves will never have the finesse and pure unadulterated skill that Ronnie possesses.
                            That's the one...

There's no disputing that Alves was head and shoulders the best player on the park last night - and from RIGHT-BACK, too. He's fantastic. Yes he feigned injury again - that was pitiful - but, frankly, with performances like that I'd take him any day and hope Rafa, Carra et al drummed that ****e out of him.

Alves is a class act. AFII was right - he totally dominated last night's game, which is remarkable for a full-back. But he does it time and time again.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It was scary just how good he was. And yes, he has been so consistent with it this season too.
