    Bellamy better then Kuyt..........

    .................this season IMO

I dont know why people have rave reviews about Kuyt(I am a fan of Kuyt before you get at me) most weekends but people just say Bellamy is **** and we should sell him no matter what he does.

Kuyt is a good player i dont doubt that but i dont think Bellamy gets the credit for what he does every week for us with his runs, hold up play and goals.

If people think he'll be out the door or if he deserves to be out the door in the summer your

    Bellamy is class FACT

I suppose it depends on what criteria you judge a striker if its goals and assists Kuyt everyime

This is true, but IMO i think Bellamy has offered us more so far this season but hasnt got anywhere near the plaudits of Kuyt who i do think is a good player and offers us alot but as i said before i feel Bellamy has been our best striker so far

Bellamy was great today barring finishing, he ripped their back 4 apart. I hope Dirk picks his game up soon! His passing / link up for me been a bit wayward these last few games!

If he was more clinical he would be perfect for us. As things stand he does a pretty decent job for us and is the only player we can rely on to pose a constant threat to defences. That has to change though, we need more direct attacking players with pace and the skill to beat players. Ideally though, Bellamy will be used as a squad player and to make an impact off the bench next season.

He is out only striker we have that scares the **** out of defences with his pace, this as the lads have mentioned is a great asset to us but i dont doubt he can be more clinical.

Kuyt likes to hang around off the front man/men and looks like he's playing in midfield sometimes. I have been Disappointed with his goals tally so far i would have hoped for alot more seeing what he had done in the Dutch league(I know it doesnt compare to the Prem but the ball and goalposts dont change)

Crouch has good feet but as Paul Merson said one day of course he should have good feet he's a profesional. He's a nice lad and im sure popular around the squad and can have a real affect on certain teams most recently Chelski, but all in all we can have a better player then him and im sure will make a profit on him if we sold him in the summer.

If I had to pick one of them to play football along the ground, it would be bellamy, if our football consisted of more long balls and crosses it would be Kuyt.
I really would like to see both men being more clinical infront of goal though, both could be scoring alot more.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Bellamy could be invaluable in these games against Barca.

I like the prospect of him chasing and harrassing Puyol - who screams and falls over at any sort of challenge.

Crocuh an Bellamy could do a job on them, If I had to pick a front pairing, it would be these two.

I was hoping Crouch would give Puyol a hard time this week, set him up and put doubt in his mind for when we play Barca, but it seems the ref in the Spain-England game didn't give Crouch anything. He gave a freekick against him when he made any sort of challenge.

Puyol is such an over-rated player. Each of out strikers potentially offer him problems.

Bellamy has shown what he's capable of now the cloud of the court case has lifted.

He's perhaps not quite clinical enough, but he's virtually the only player we have (bar Pennant when he feels like it) who is willing to run at a defender and take them on.

Sure, Stevie might power his way through at times, but Bellamy is the only one I'd actually fancy to beat a player with skill.

That, quite frankly, is a fairly tragic state of affairs.

I think he's great, and as pointed out, the work he does for the team is often underrated IMO

Is this some kind of sick joke ?

Anyone who thinks Craig 'eight goals' Bellamy is good enough to start for side looking to win the title, is sadly deluded. I'm not Kuyt's biggest fan, but even he has been better than Bellamy this season.

That said, neither are the elusive 'goalscorer' we're after. According to many Liverpool fans these days, it seems...

Lazy, erratic striker who scores a lot of goals = Crap

Strikers that work hard, drop deep but dont score many goals = Good.

If Cisse was still at the club, he would be our top scorer this season, no question.

                              You teed me up mate.

Sorry but I'll never, ever consider a striker that scores so few goals as 'class'.

I mean EIGHT goals ?! That's poor, he'll probably end up with about 12 goals, if I'm being generous...
