      I just feel strongly about comments like that i can take the banter i wouldnt mind if he said i was talking ****e(Like i normally do....just to get in there before the rest etc.........but calling a person that is not right

          Actually, I think they are, certainly in this context, unfortunately it wasn't reported straight away and I for one have only just spotted it. I've edited some posts in this thread - we have very few rules on this site, but if you look at the ones we do have, "special-needs" insults are specifically mentioned as unacceptable.

                Come on mate, pretty much all comments deserve debate, if only to wither the proponent of said ridiculous concept by the force of your argument and the wit of your expression.

                  Yes, comments deserve debate, but personalising those comments or ridiculing the poster or abusing an individual, no matter what anyone believes, is not on, an opinion is just that - an opinion, use the opportunity to get a different viewpoint over and try to persuade the argument in one direction with good communications skills, not abusive language aimed at posters.

                  Argue the point, not the personality.
