They are prepared to put up with any they might get in order to pay their respects and should be applauded for that. It wasn't fans who were killed , it was players, young players, players like them!
And even if it was fans, they died! I am appalled when they sing songs about our dead and I am appalled when our fans do the same. It's a disgrace.
My brother in law died aged 39 from cancer and he was a Manc. He wasn't one who sang the songs obviously, but I would hate anyone to say they were glad he died just because he supported a different bloody football team.I live with Steptoe.

Still don't think they should be getting involved with anything M********r U****d related though. I respect their stance and I respect anyone who thinks there's no problem with it but, regardless, it doesn't sit well with me.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Indeed, but those days are long, long gone.Originally posted by Mumsafan View PostBusby was one of ours before he went there - that may also have something to do with it. There were days when things were fairly amicable between the clubs. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Whilst i agree with you 100% about respecting the dead and i'm certainly not one of those deadbeats who go on about Munich but the primary reason for this match is to celebrate 50 years since the Treaty of Rome which created the modern European Union so some of us are legitamately asking why ManUtd vs the Rest of Europe? Anyway that gripe aside about some major PR and commercial plus points for the mancs i hope it makes tons of cash for charity.Originally posted by Mumsafan View PostIt's to do with respecting the dead. I don't care what the Mancs are, some very youing, very good players lost their lives and their families have had to live with it just as families have had to live with heysel and Hillsbrough. It's not one rule for one and one rule for another - the dead deserve respect.

Along with proclamation of their desire to see them on top of a bonfire, "you Scouse *******s", "murderers", "without killing anyone we won it a laughable two times", "eating rats in your council house" and other such fun-filled banter.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostAt best, they will both get roundly booed.
At worst...Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It`s them because they had other reasons already for this game and it was just the sensible thing to do for the Charity involved. They are a club with one of the highest profiles in the world due to their superior marketing and profiling of their club.It sticks in my throat but it`s true.Hopefully these Yanks can help us change that.Originally posted by Marshy View PostWhilst i agree with you 100% about respecting the dead and i'm certainly not one of those deadbeats who go on about Munich but the primary reason for this match is to celebrate 50 years since the Treaty of Rome which created the modern European Union so some of us are legitamately asking why ManUtd vs the Rest of Europe?
