Clearly a lot more than you, most of the strikers you talk about in that list and are trying to degrade have scored an awful lot more goals than Crouch ever has and at least two thirds of them have an awful lot more to their game, ie CLOSER to being complete strikers than Crouch ever will, that's honestly one of the most feable attempts I've even seen at trying to degrade players, have a word with yourself, most of those strikers would walk into our team ahead of Crouch, some of them even only at half their best.

He was lazy the first months this season but in the last month he has worked very hard played very good and scored a lot of goals.

Sorry Shaggy but he is not ****e - I have seen him play 'live' several times and he is a ****in animal - a beast of a striker. Yes he is one footed but what a left foot that is. He has immense power, and a rocket of a left foot. May not be the quickest, but he is just as quick, if not quicker than all our strikers.

He is not the best but lets keep it real, IMO he is not ****e.

I think what Shaggy means with Adriano is that **** = overrated.

I've never seen enough from Adriano to suggest me move the earth to land him. No doubt he'll score between 5-10 wonder goals a year, but what else would he bring to the TEAM. Very little from what I've seen.

The fact is there aren't many players in the world that can guarantee you goals in our league. Very few.

Okay I know he’s not “****e” – he clearly has ability – but the bloke is a waster, and when he’s bad (a lot of the time) he’s incredibly bad. Of course, when he’s good he’s unplayable but I wouldn’t be interested in having him at Anfield.

He is still 24 (25 tomorrow) and his record is pretty impressive considering the defensive nature of the Italian league:

43 goals in 91 appearances for Inter

23 goals in 37 appearances for Parma

and amazingly 23 goals in 36 appearances for Brazil.

I agree that despite his record I could not see him fitting in at Anfield.

I think David Villa will be our main striker next season.
