i havent seen anything from him like that while playing for us.

i think if he stays injury free we will see much more from him next season. this season he seems to be struggling just to keep up, never mind dominating
In a funny kind of way, I think he is in the comfort zone of being "new to the league and settling in period" . I could be wrong, but I deffo think he could be trying harder.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I'm sure he will improve, although I doubt it will be to the level of Ronaldo.

To be honest though, I'd prefer ANYONE on the left rather than Zenden

Almost scored last game...good runs into the box.
Give him some games and he will get better and better...

i know what your saying, he does seem to coast through some games. but i have also seen him work his arse off. he's struggling for consistency at the moment but it is much to early to write him off. he is one of those players that needs confidence to perform well, and because of injuries and lack of playing time he's lost his confidence

Didn't go yesterday but other times when he's taking the corners they are miles better then anyone else.

Nando didn't make it here cos of the speed of the PL and he was too slow, but Speedy is the oposite, he was awesome last year in la-liga.

Given a run and a bit more experience i don't see why he can't produce the goods.
Love it to be ture. But I, like others haven't seen anything to go on bar that important CL Ql goal with his first touch coming off the bench. He needs to improve big time this season, with any chances he gets to be consider a serious contender for next season. I think Rafa will give him a fair chance.

Thats fair enough I could be a little bit hard on him, i'm not sure, it is like finding your feet again playing in the EPL for the first time, it can be a big adjustment for some people as we have seen with Morientes, and I believed Morientes did actually try his best.
