      It's just so Maclaren hasn't got to face up to the Gerrard Lampard debate. Terry will always be first choice in his position so it's easy.

            The captain and coach are inextricably linked in any set-up. Beckham has been completely nailed as "Sven's captain" and tainted with that brush. I for one am glad that it will be John Terry and not Stevie G that gets taken down with this soon to be sunk ship.

              No matter what... Stevie's gonna whoop Terrys arse on the pitch in Cardiff and show McLaren that he was wrong!
