Rafa's best/worst signings so far

On the head. Pelle was a joke, the only thing I'd begrudgingly give him credit for is giving Hyypia a much needed breather, keeping him fresh for our excellent CL campaign, but in fairness, ANYONE could have done the same.

We won only 4 of the 13 games he played in and lost to the likes of Southampton, Palace, Man City, Blackburn and Birmingham so yes, virtually anyone could have done as well if not better.

You'd think but he scored 5 important goals last season which gave us a decent run in, he cost nothing and Leeds were paying his wages!! You can't ask for a better return than that!

He was a great influence though.

Rafa's worst PLAYER was Pellegrino.

His worst PURCHASE was probably Nunez actually. Did absolutely nothing.

Josemi was fine for half, may be 2/3rds the season, not sure what happened after that.

I think people are a bit harsh on Josemi.

I was never particularly concerned at him playing at right back and he made loads of last ditch challenges.

Nunez and Pellegrino made me very worried indeed when they played.

"Worst" signing is difficult to define. Moro was certainly the most disappointing as I had hih hopes for him even 12 months ago.
Josemi and Pelligrino probably had the least input to our results.
Nunez never really had a chance and considering he was essentially a free signing he did OK.
I think it's grossly unfair to have a pop at Bolo. He's been injured most of his time here, not his fault and he was a free signing.
